WAYEAL Chairman Zang Mu Invited to Speak at the 2024 Scientific Instrument Developers Conference

Innovation lights up the future! On May 26, the 2024 Scientific Instrument Developers Conference, jointly initiated by the China Instrument and Control Society and the National Center for Science & Technology Evaluation, along with 15 academicians and six scientific instrument companies including WAYEAL, successfully concluded in Qingdao, Shandong. This conference focused on the research and application of scientific instruments, creating a new platform for developers to communicate, attracting academicians, experts, scholars, and corporate representatives from all over the world. 

At the conference, Academician Tan Jiubin of the Chinese Academy of Engineering unveiled the Research Report on the Innovation Capability of Scientific Instrument Enterprises. This report, based on four primary indicators, 21 secondary indicators, and six data sources, recognized WAYEAL as one of the "Top 10 Scientific Instrument Enterprises in Innovation Investment." 

Zang Mu, Chairman of WAYEAL, engaged in an in-depth and comprehensive discussion with guest speakers during the "High-Level Salon Dialogue on the Development of Scientific Instruments" hosted by Professor Zhang Xinrong from Tsinghua University, focusing on topics such as "How Enterprises Innovate" and "Future Innovation Development of Instruments," emphasizing the critical importance of innovation for enterprise development and contributing ideas for the vigorous development of domestic instrument technology. 

Zang Mu stated that good management is the foundation for stable enterprise development, and we need to establish an innovative management system, which is a prerequisite for stable development, and based on this, formulate more meticulous plans. The fundamental purpose of an enterprise is to provide customers with high-quality products, comprehensive solutions, and professional services. To achieve this goal, we must improve the efficiency and quality of management, which requires us to have a customer-oriented management mindset and project management capabilities. 

The instrument industry is a highly integrated field, encompassing various disciplines such as optics, mechanics, electronics, biology, and chemistry. The emergence of new materials and new sensors may bring us more opportunities for innovative development, and even help us catch up within the industry. We must closely follow the development pace of new materials and new technologies, such as the application of new sensors and the integration of AI. This not only enhances the sensitivity of machines but also enables scientific instruments to possess more powerful analytical and detection capabilities. 

The application of new sensors can accurately capture extremely subtle changes in data, providing a more reliable basis for scientific research. The integration of AI allows scientific instruments to have self-learning and optimization capabilities, enabling intelligent adjustments and improvements based on different experimental needs and data characteristics. This will greatly improve the efficiency and quality of scientific research, continuously expanding the boundaries of knowledge in various fields. 

In practical applications, this means we can use these innovative results to more quickly detect pollutants in the environment, providing strong data support for environmental protection. We can analyze the composition and effects of drugs more accurately, aiding pharmaceutical R&D to achieve new breakthroughs. Additionally, it can make quality inspection in industrial production more precise and efficient, improving product qualification rates and market competitiveness. We can also see that in the field of education, these innovative scientific instruments can provide students with an intuitive and vivid learning experience, cultivating their scientific thinking and exploratory spirit. 

Scientific instruments are tools for understanding the world and the foundation for transforming it. High-end scientific instruments are an important condition for building a technologically strong nation and achieving high-level technological self-reliance and strength.
