Scheme Overview
The emission monitoring solution for thermal power plants is designed to precisely control pollution emissions. For organized emissions, a Continuous Emissions Monitoring System (CEMS) is utilized. By employing techniques such as flue gas infrared sampling, monitoring points are strategically positioned on chimneys or exhaust ducts to measure concentrations of pollutants like sulfur dioxide. For unorganized emissions, laser scattering particulate matter monitors are deployed and placed at the plant boundary and surrounding areas in a grid pattern. Data collection is conducted through a data acquisition system, with the gathered information transmitted to a monitoring center or cloud platform via 4G/5G or Ethernet. This data undergoes comprehensive analysis, including statistical, trend, and correlation evaluations to assess emission conditions and compare them with standards. Additionally, a quality assurance and control system is established, ensuring regular calibration and maintenance of equipment, personnel training, and adherence to operational standards. This guarantees accurate and reliable data, assisting thermal power plants in meeting environmental standards and making informed decisions for emission reduction.
